***Trixie and Monkey have raked in the awards at Exotic World Weekend over the past few years. Trophy for Best Duo, Second Runner Up for Miss Exotic World, 1st Runner Up for Best Troupe, and most recently, Monkey was crowned the reigning King of Boylesque. They’ve headlined Colorado Burlesque Fest, New York Burlesque Fest, Viva Las Vegas, and so much else. Their resume also lists various work with John Waters, America’s Got Talent, The Gong Show with Dave Attel, and The Flaming Lips. Most significantly, they have directly trained and coached local high-flying acrobatic aerialist September Smith in circus and burlesque over the past few years.

That’s right friends, Trixie Little and The Evil Hate Monkey are coming to Albuquerque on April 27, 2011. We know. It’s a Wednesday. The show is absolutely worth it though. If you have ever seen them, you know what we’re talking about already. Since some of you might want to sleep off your hangovers before work on Thursday, we’ll even start the show at 8:00 PM.

Trixie and Monkey are amazing. These two also trained New Mexico’s September Smith in circus and burlesque. We performed with them in Denver last year at Colorado Burlesque Fest and then again in New York Burlesque Fest. See their ranking at #14 on the Burlesque Top 50

We can’t say it enough. This is the one burlesque act you can’t miss.

There are many events that night so you would have to purchase the 4/23/2011 8 PM tickets to just see the competition; although we encourage you to purchase The Whole Shebang tickets to get into burlesque workshops, all the shows, exhibits and more.
